Drift Hunters

One car, one city, and every line you can find in it. Tune it, respray it, then open a room and hold the angle next to someone else.

What's in the game

Everything you need
to hold the slide

A focused drift sandbox that loads in a browser tab — garage, tuning bench, paint booth and a city to learn by heart, with nothing to install.

  • 01

    Drift with other people

Open the lobby, create a public room or lock one with a four-digit passcode, and share Ocean City with up to ten cars. Everyone shows up in their own paint.

  • 02

    Ghost cars to chase

Room quiet? Drop in up to five ghost cars and give yourself something to hunt down instead of lapping an empty city on your own.

  • 03

    Five systems, four stages

Engine, boost, gearbox, brakes and weight all step from stock to stage three. Then fine-tune camber, wheel offset, ride height, brake bias and boost pressure.

  • 04

    Paint booth with real finishes

Gloss, metallic, matte and chrome on a full RGB picker. Body, front rims and rear rims are separate, so mismatched axles are a deliberate choice.

  • 05

    27 rim designs, three sizes

A proper wheel catalogue from deep mesh to classic spokes, sized small, medium or large, and fitted front and rear independently.

  • 06

    Scoring that reads the slide

Points scale with speed and angle while you stay between ten and a hundred and ten degrees. Keep it lit and the multiplier ladder climbs every six seconds.

The garage

Build it, then go share it

The car

One car, learned properly

A 995 kg rear-driver making 219 hp and topping out at 220 km/h. Light, honest and unforgiving — there is no faster car to hide behind, so every improvement is you getting better.

  • Predictable rotation you can actually read
  • Automatic gearbox, so you drive the line and not the shifter
  • Assists and grip profiles tuned for sustained angle

Paint booth

Four finishes, any colour

Pick the part, pick the finish, drag the sliders. Nothing to unlock and nothing to save — the car updates in front of you and carries that paint into multiplayer.

  • Gloss, metallic, matte and chrome
  • Full RGB picker rather than a fixed swatch list
  • Body, front rims and rear rims painted separately
The multiplayer lobby with room list, bot car selector and create room buttons
Multiplayer

Rooms, passcodes and bots

The lobby lists every open room and refreshes as you watch. Make one public for whoever turns up, or private with a passcode when you only want your own people in it.

  • Public rooms, or private with a four-digit passcode
  • Up to ten cars sharing the map
  • An on-screen compass pointing at the nearest car

How to play

Two pedals,
one handbrake

Nothing to memorise. Get in, break traction into the corner, and steer into the slide with the throttle. The rest is practice.

The gearbox is automatic, so there is nothing to shift. Pause, respawn and end-run live on the on-screen buttons in the top corner, and on a phone or tablet the game swaps itself over to touch pedals and a steering wheel.

Start driving
  • W Throttle
  • S Brake and reverse
  • Steer (or A and D)
  • Space Handbrake — break traction into the corner
  • C Change camera — four angles
  • I Start or kill the engine

Questions

Good to know

Still stuck? The game is free and loads in a tab — the fastest answer is usually to just try it.

Is Drift Hunters free?

Yes, completely. There is nothing to buy, no account to make and no ads. Your progress is saved in your own browser.

Do I need to download or install anything?

No. It is a Unity WebGL build, so it streams straight into the browser tab. A reasonably modern desktop browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari is all you need.

How many cars and tracks are there?

One of each: the AE86, and Ocean City. This build is deliberately focused — the depth is in the tuning, the paint and the wheels rather than in a long list of cars you would never drive twice.

How does multiplayer work?

Choose Ocean City Multiplayer, then either join a room from the lobby list or create your own. Public rooms are open to anyone; private rooms need the four-digit passcode you are given. Up to ten cars can share the map, and you can add up to five ghost cars if you want company.

How is my drift score calculated?

Points build from your speed and your angle for as long as the slide stays between roughly ten and a hundred and ten degrees. Hold it and the multiplier ladder steps up every six seconds; straighten up or spin and it drops back.

Why does the first load take a while?

A 3D build has to arrive before the first frame — geometry, textures and audio. The first visit is the slow one; after that your browser caches most of it and it starts much faster.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

It detects mobile browsers and switches to touch controls with on-screen pedals and a steering wheel. It runs best on a desktop or laptop, where the download and the keyboard both work in your favour.
